Join us for one of the greatest musical comedies of all time as Guys and Dolls bursts onto the Concordia stage. Packed with unforgettable songs, sharp humour, colourful characters and a whole lot of heart, this classic Broadway tale follows high-rolling gamblers, show-stopping performers, and an unlikely romance or two on the bustling streets of New York City. With dazzling choreography, vibrant costumes, and a hugely talented local cast, this production promises charm, comedy, and a whole lot of Broadway magic.
Hinckley BID's town centre Garden Show will feature a variety of show gardens created by local communities, a Craft & Garden Market, Health & Wellness event, as well as HBBC's Music In The Mead.
Hinckley is set to bloom this May with the launch of its first-ever town centre Garden & Wellbeing Show, taking place across the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May, from 10am to 4pm. This exciting new event will transform the town into a vibrant celebration of horticulture, wellbeing, creativity and community spirit.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of Argents Mead and extending throughout the town centre, the weekend will feature three events in one, offering something for everyone:
Visitors can explore stunning show gardens, browse plant sales, and take part in engaging well-being demonstrations and workshops. The event will also highlight more than 140 independent town centre businesses, many of which are creating imaginative garden displays as part of the town-wide garden trail.
Organisers have extended special thanks to headline supporters Palmers Garden Centre, Sapcote Garden Centre and Tinglebug Farm Garden Centre for their amazing support in helping bring the event to life.
Further thanks go to Thornton Garden Centre, Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, Leonardo Hotel Hinckley Island, Jaspers of Hinckley, G. Seller, and all the town centre businesses and community groups taking part, including Hinckley Fixers and Hinckley Community Shed Group.

Discover Hinckley’s Most Colourful Month Ever
Colour The Town Art Trail • 1–30 June 2026 • Free Entry
Get ready to see Hinckley like you’ve never seen it before. This June, the town centre transforms into a vibrant outdoor gallery as Colour the Town Art Trail brings a burst of creativity, colour and imagination to every corner.
For the whole month, you can wander through streets filled with eye‑catching artwork, bold sculptures, and joyful displays created by talented artists and local businesses. As the press release highlights, “the town centre will be filled with artwork and sculpture installations, live entertainment on selected days, and a welcoming atmosphere supported by Hinckley’s fantastic range of shops, cafés, and local businesses.”
Whether you’re planning a family day out, meeting friends for coffee, or simply exploring at your own pace, the trail offers something new to discover each time you visit.
This evening concert will feature a local orchestra. Gates open at 5pm with the concert to begin at 6pm and finish at 8:30pm.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic and drinks, and we would encourage any alcohol to be drank responsibly. The event is free to attend, and no booking is necessary. Capacity is limited in the auditorium area and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
