Event Information

Hinckley BID's town centre Garden Show will feature a variety of show gardens created by local communities, a Craft & Garden Market, Health & Wellness event, as well as HBBC's Music In The Mead.

Hinckley is set to bloom this May with the launch of its first-ever town centre Garden & Wellbeing Show, taking place across the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May, from 10am to 4pm. This exciting new event will transform the town into a vibrant celebration of horticulture, wellbeing, creativity and community spirit.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Argents Mead and extending throughout the town centre, the weekend will feature three events in one, offering something for everyone:

  • Garden & Well-Being Show (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Craft & Antique Fair (Sunday, 10am–3pm) along Castle Street
  • Garden Trail Across Town, showcasing creative displays by local businesses

Visitors can explore stunning show gardens, browse plant sales, and take part in engaging well-being demonstrations and workshops. The event will also highlight more than 140 independent town centre businesses, many of which are creating imaginative garden displays as part of the town-wide garden trail.

Organisers have extended special thanks to headline supporters Palmers Garden Centre, Sapcote Garden Centre and Tinglebug Farm Garden Centre for their amazing support in helping bring the event to life.

Further thanks go to Thornton Garden Centre, Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council, Leonardo Hotel Hinckley Island, Jaspers of Hinckley, G. Seller, and all the town centre businesses and community groups taking part, including Hinckley Fixers and Hinckley Community Shed Group.

The event will also showcase the creativity of local schools, with student-designed gardens and displays from:
