Come and see the Christmas lights through Argents Mead.
Thousands of twinkling fairy lights in hues of green, blue and pink will be hung around the trees, pathways and bandstand in Argents Mead, Hinckley, from Friday, 21 November 2025 until Monday, 5 January 2026.
The 'Lights in the Mead' will be turned on in zones on the night of Hinckley's Christmas Light Switch-On - Friday 21 November 2025, from 5pm, with all the lights being on in the Mead from 6:30pm until late that evening.
'Lights in the Mead' will then be on every evening, from Saturday 22 November 2025 until Tuesday 6 January 2026, alongside the town centre's Christmas lights and Christmas tree in the marketplace.
This very popular annual festive event is back at St Mary's Church for 2025.

Hinckley BID proudly hosts a Christmas Market with a difference inside the former Argos unit at the Britannia Centre, step inside our festive market hall with unique stalls full of Christmas gifts, crafts, and decor!

Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council invites local disabled and elderly care home residents to come into Hinckley to see the Christmas lights.
Letters have been sent out to these premises to invite their residents and carers to the free event.

Following two years of successful performances across the county, Enderby Band are making their debut visit to Concordia Theatre this winter with a screening of Raymond Brigg's Christmas classic, THE SNOWMAN, with live brass band soundtrack. The film will be followed by a short selection of family-friendly festive favourite pieces, songs, and carols to leave you with those cosy Christmas feelings on the run up to the big day.
Tickets on sale to Concordia Theatre members from 10.00am Saturday 16th August – and then to the general public Saturday 23rd August at 10.00am.

The fantastic Concordia panto takes you back to Old London for the tale of Dick Whittington and his Cat. One of the oldest pantomime stories, and probably the only one based on a true historical figure – Richard Whittington. Whilst there is a smidgeon of accuracy in our tale – the rest of the tale will be jam-packed with true Concordia panto magic! Spectacular sets and costumes! Breath-taking special effects!
