Hinckley town centre came alive on Saturday 10 October as Hinckley BID’s OctoBIDfest brought an afternoon and evening of live music, food, drink and festival entertainment to Regent Street and the Market Place.
Organised by Hinckley BID in association with The Clarence and Baton Rouge, the event celebrated the fantastic hospitality businesses, entertainment venues and local talent that make Hinckley a great place to visit.
Live music and a festival atmosphere
Two outdoor stages hosted a packed programme of local artists and performers, bringing the entertainment normally enjoyed inside Hinckley’s popular bars out into the streets.
The Clarence and Baton Rouge stages kept the crowds entertained throughout the event, while Don Fenticas brought its distinctive energy to a stage takeover at the Baton Rouge stage.
Alongside the live music, visitors enjoyed food and drink from participating hospitality businesses and event stallholders, creating a lively atmosphere and encouraging people to explore the town centre.
Thank you for your support
Hinckley BID would like to thank The Clarence, Baton Rouge and Don Fenticas for bringing the music and entertainment to OctoBIDfest, alongside all the hospitality businesses in Regent Street and beyond that took part.
Thanks also go to the food and drink stallholders, the BID events team for their hard work in delivering the event, and Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council for their continued support.
OctoBIDfest showcased the variety of experiences available in Hinckley, from live music and entertainment to independent bars, restaurants and places to eat.
The entertainment doesn't stop when the festival ends! Many of Hinckley’s hospitality venues offer live music, DJs and great food and drink throughout the year. We encourage residents and visitors to support local businesses, discover somewhere new and enjoy everything the town centre has to offer.
