As you will appreciate, HBBC Revenues department are under a great deal of pressure and as some businesses are struggling to get through HBBC have come together with North West Leicestershire District Council and Harborough District Council (as they have a combined Business Rates Team) as a Partnership.

Then follow the instruction there, which is under the heading of "Apply for a grant for your business".
You will be taken to North West Leicestershire District Council's site. When completing the form, please select Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council as your council:
North West District Council have kindly set up the portal to capture and distribute all the information for the three councils.
Where we have contact details we may also be calling businesses to advise them on what needs to be done to ensure we can obtain bank details in a secure way.
I know the wording says apply, but it is not an application process really - if your business is eligible you will get the grant. This is just making sure that the grant gets to the correct bank account. As you can imagine there are some individuals out there that may try and commit fraud with this much money involved.
As with all situations like this, there are unscrupulous people out there trying to take advantage of businesses. Please note:
- If you receive a call from HBBC, the caller is basically asking you to go to www.hinckley-bosworth.gov.uk/coronabusinessadvice
- Then please follow the advice there to register your details so that HBBC can call you.
- It will then (via the links) take you to a secure portal on Northwest Leicestershire DC’s website where HBBC information can be input.
- NO ONE SHOULD GIVE BANK DETAILS OVER THE PHONE.
