Kick Start Your Christmas Shopping during our Hinckley Independent Retailers Week
|
The festive season is approaching, and as the town lights will soon begin to twinkle, there's no better time to embrace community spirit. This year, why not skip the stressful drives and crowded shopping centres for a more relaxed and meaningful experience right on your doorstep. By keeping your Christmas shopping local, you can find beautiful, unique gifts while helping our high street thrive. What better time to do that, than during our first Hinckley Independent Retailers Week! Discover the unique and personal Shopping locally offers a higher chance of finding a truly special and original gift. Look for handcrafted items, artisan foods, or a one-of-a-kind piece from an independent boutique. Supporting these businesses means you're not only giving a gift, but also a piece of your community's creativity. For the foodie: Pick up cheeses, chutneys, and other delicious treats from some of our established shops to create a personalised Christmas hamper. For the creative: Attend a festive workshop locally and give a handmade gift that's personal and memorable. For the person who has everything: Why not purchase a gift voucher for a local business? Whether for a boutique, beauty salon, or a town centre cafe or bar, it supports a local business and lets your loved one pick their perfect gift. The joy of community: Beyond the gifts, shopping locally helps sustain the heart of our town. The money spent at independent businesses stays within the local economy, supporting local families and jobs. Experience the festive atmosphere Make a day of your festive shopping by enjoying the town's eateries and Christmas events. The Christmas Lights Switch-On and Tin Hat Fair mark the start of this special time of year, complete with entertainment on Friday, 21st November. This Christmas, make a difference to your community and your holiday cheer by shopping locally in Hinckley town centre. It's a wonderful way to find truly special gifts while supporting the businesses that make our town such a unique and friendly place to be.
