On Wednesday, 5th November, BBC Radio Leicester and Pudsey Bear will be bringing Fun and Fundraising to Hinckley Town centre!
Hinckley BID will host BBC Radio Leicester and the much-loved Pudsey Bear for an exciting fundraising event set to take place across Hinckley town centre on Wednesday, 5th November 2025 from 12:00 pm to approximately 1:45 pm. Residents and local businesses are invited to join in the festivities as Pudsey Bear takes a walk through the town, spreading joy and raising funds for a great cause.
The event will kick off at The Crescent, outside Cineworld, where Pudsey Bear will lead a procession along a designated route taking in the following: Lancaster Road (pedestrian crossing), Station Road, Market Place, The Borough, King Street and Lower Bond Street. From there, the route continues to NWSLC, through the college car park, and towards Concordia Theatre on Stockwell Head. Participants will then navigate through the jitty at the rear of B&M onto Castle Street, on to upper Castle Street and Hill Street en-route to the final destination of the Bandstand in Argents Mead (see route map below).
Local shops along the route are encouraged to show their support by decorating their storefronts and helping to create a community atmosphere for this exciting and well publicised event. After reaching the finish line, Pudsey Bear will take some time to walk down Castle Street, providing businesses and local residents with a wonderful opportunity for photos and community engagement.
