As a Business Improvement District (BID) we normally get to shout about the successes of our memeber businesses, but on this occasion, we are proud to announce that we ourselves have been awarded the prestigious title of 'Community Development Non-Profit Organization of the Year for 2025' by the renowned Prestige Awards.

This recognition highlights our unwavering commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive community for local businesses, residents, and visitors alike.

The Prestige Awards were established to honour businesses and individuals who consistently deliver exceptional products and services. The awards team conducts extensive research to identify thriving SME communities, recognising the unique characteristics that independent businesses bring to their regions. Osmaan Mahmood, Founder & CEO of Prestige Awards, remarked, “Although small businesses may not be able to compete with multinational companies on their size and scale, there is a personalised service-driven focus that is often void from large organisations.”

The nomination process for the Prestige Awards is rigorous, inviting readers to present businesses that have excelled in their market over the past year. Shortlisted candidates, like Hinckley BID, must provide evidence of their impact, positive client feedback, and notable achievements. The judging panel evaluates nominees based on service excellence, product quality, innovative practices, value, sustainability, and consistency in performance.

Hinckley BID is honoured to have been recognised for its outstanding contributions to community development. Over the past year, we have implemented various initiatives aimed at enhancing the local economy, promoting BID member businesses, and creating a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Our dedication to sustainable practices and community engagement has set us apart, and we are thrilled to be acknowledged for our efforts.

“We are incredibly proud to receive this award, which reflects the hard work and dedication of our team, local businesses, and the community,” said Helen Crouch, BID Manager of Hinckley BID. “This recognition motivates us to continue our mission of supporting and uplifting our town centre while fostering a sense of community.”

Hinckley BID extends its thanks to everyone who has supported us on this journey. We look forward to continuing our work and making a positive impact in our community.
