Hinckley town centre was buzzing on Sunday as the Hinckley BID Motor Show celebrated its 15th anniversary with record crowds, hundreds of exceptional vehicles, live music and glorious sunshine.
The free event, open to both vehicle owners and visitors, transformed the town centre for a spectacular day of “Motoring Through The Ages”, with families and motoring enthusiasts enjoying an incredible variety of classic cars, superbikes, specialist vehicles, replicas and performance cars.
From early motoring history through to some of the most eye-catching vehicles on the road today, there was something to capture the imagination around every corner.
More than just a motor show
The anniversary event was designed to be much more than a display of vehicles. With live music, emergency service displays, food, drink and town-centre businesses welcoming visitors, Hinckley became a vibrant destination for families and visitors throughout the day.
The live music line-up featured talented performers all local to Hinckley, helping create a fantastic festival atmosphere as visitors explored the displays and enjoyed the sunshine.
Visitors could also meet members of Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, Hinckley Police and Leicestershire Search & Rescue, with displays showcasing the important work carried out by the emergency services.
The quality and variety of vehicles on display were a major highlight of the day, and Hinckley BID would like to extend a huge thank you to every motorist and exhibitor who brought along their vehicle or display.

Congratulations to all of this year's winners and thank you to everyone who exhibited vehicles and attended the Hinckley BID Motor Show 2026. The standard of entries was exceptionally high, making the judges' decisions incredibly difficult.
Hinckley BID would also like to thank Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council for its continued support, alongside Stuart Renewables for all their help on the day.

And not forgetting Palmers Garden Centre, which celebrated the 15th anniversary by creating another fantastic garden display in Argents Mead. Their team also served a delicious selection of hot drinks and snacks from their plant stall, adding another great feature to the event.
Spitfire flypast cancelled due to wind
The anniversary celebrations were also due to feature a special RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire flypast.
The aircraft was scheduled to depart from RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire before making its planned flight over Hinckley town centre.
Unfortunately, in the final hour, the flypast was cancelled due to wind conditions.
While this was undoubtedly disappointing for visitors and organisers, operational and aviation safety must always come first.
Despite the cancellation, the Motor Show continued to deliver a fantastic day, with the packed streets, spectacular vehicles, sunshine, live entertainment and family atmosphere providing plenty for visitors to enjoy.
