Local history museum for Hinckley and district, housed in a row of 17th century timber framed and thatched cottages, with a Fairtrade tearoom and cottage garden. New exhibitions each season (Easter to October), and summer school holiday Friday events for children. The independent museum, which opened in 1996, is managed and staffed entirely by volunteers, and is a registered charity (no. 1015922).

From Easter to the end of October annually:
Fridays, Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays 10am-3.30pm.
