Hinckley BID thanks families for fantastic Bike Spectacular
|
Hinckley BID is thanking everyone who attended and took part in its Summer of Fun â Bike Spectacular Families enjoyed a hot and sunny day at Argents Mead, with BMXtras wowing the crowds with dramatic stunt displays throughout the day. Ex-GB team members Tyler Wainwright and Mike Hullock showcased their impressive skills, providing plenty of thrills and excitement for spectators. Wellbeing Riders shared information about local cycling opportunities, while The Cycle Shed provided on-the-day bike repairs and maintenance. Choose How You Move was also on hand with information about local cycle routes, distributing maps and highlighting the current free bus fares available for children. Hannah OâDell, BID Events Manager, said: âWeâd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Bike Spectacular and helped us round off our Summer of Fun programme. âDespite the heat, families came out in great numbers and it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying the BMX displays and getting involved with all the activities and information on offerâ The Bike Spectacular marks the conclusion of Hinckley BIDâs free Summer of Fun programme, which has provided family entertainment and activities during the school holidays. The next event in Hinckley BIDâs calendar is the 15th Annual Hinckley BID Motor Show on Sunday 20 September.
