Please be advised of a Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Event in Hinckley on Thursday 9th June at The Atkins Building, Hinckley between 11am – 3pm. A similar event in Loughborough proved very worthwhile.

Local businesses who are seeking staff are invited to attend, the event is FREE for businesses and the DWP’s aim is to attract a wider audience of both people seeking employment and those who are seeking a change in career.

Please note, spaces are limited so please let them know if you are interested in attending - they will also be promoting the event widely through all social media platforms and through their Job Centre Plus channels.

Our first Town Centre evening meeting was so well attended that eventually, and for the first time ever, we had to close the entry to vehicles at around 6.30pm - I counted 110 in total, some from a long way away.

Footfall was huge with families in abundance and many nice comments on facebook.

The businesses that opened seemed busy - the next Evening Meet is on Thursday June 16th.

A good sign for the BID Events yet to come…..
