HINCKLEY BID renews its recycling contract

Those businesses already taking part in the Hinckley BID recycling scheme are advised that we have renewed our contract with HBBC again this year. This is worth £234 to every BID member taking advantage of this offer (that is the charge the Council would make if you contacted them direct). Anyone who hasn’t already and who wishes to join this scheme please email martina@hinckleybid.co.uk.

Do you have anything new to shout about?

Our growing list of Loyalty card members and other local shoppers who wish to receive our monthly e-newsletters has reached its highest level ever, with an increasing number of people who live in Nuneaton now coming to Hinckley and calling at the BID office for town centre information.

If you have a new product range, a special offer, a sale – or anything else of a special nature – please tell us and we will shout it out loud for you at no cost.

Hinckley BID’s Loyalty Card

The number of people applying for and receiving a FREE Hinckley BID Loyalty card every week has now reached an all time high. More than 60 businesses are making an offer and benefitting from that. If you haven’t tried this route to extra sales, just ask us to tell you more about it – it does not have to be for every product that you sell, and can be for as short or long a period as you wish. This service is included in your Hinckley BID annual fee.

Fire Extinguishers

(The number of fire extinguishers required on a business premises)

Checks on legal compliance are increasing. The fire extinguisher regulations in the UK prescribe that two Class A fire extinguishers are available on every floor of a building.

Fire extinguishers in this range include 3 and 6-litre foam extinguishers and 9-litre water extinguishers. Your company would require a combination of any two of these for each floor of your business premises.

Exceptions to the above include small premises, such as kiosks and food trucks, where the presence of two fire extinguishers hamper emergency exit routes.

If you would like Hinckley BID to help you locate a competitive supplier, please contact steve@hinckleybid.co.uk

To recognise the types of extinguisher, please see the image above.

If we can help, we will!

Please remember that if we can help, we always will or find somebody who may be able to assist.

Many thanks, stay safe and well.
