Happy New Year and welcome to our first BID Buzz of 2024!
For those who may not be aware - as a 'BID' (Business Improvement District), our work is funded entirely by town centre businesses who have collectively contributed close to £3 million over the last 14 years. If you would like to know a little more about the BID, please visit our website.
Thanks to this funding we can host the great range of FREE annual events that have become firm favourites on our Hinckley calendar (Soapbox Derby, Motor Show, Summer of Fun entertainment). That aside, it attracts huge numbers of visitors from near and far, and allows us to showcase the town and all it has to offer. Huge thanks to all of our town centre businesses, national and independent, for their valuable support!
An incredible 73% of our member businesses are independently owned, and behind each one is a dedicated entrepreneur who is passionate about the products and services they offer. So, where possible, let's try to make 2024 a year of shopping locally and supporting local business where we can!
