Christmas is just around the corner and our BID town centre businesses are grateful for the loyal support of local shoppers, not just in the run up to the festive season, but throughout the year! Thank you one and all!
So, whatever you do, before going further afield for Christmas gifts and stocking fillers, please check out our online directory of local businesses for some inspiration. Choose from Shops & Boutiques, Health & Beauty, Food, Drink and Entertainment or Service Businesses. If you can be prone to procrastination, then just remember, a gift voucher for a local business is the perfect choice!

Lights Switch-On & Tin Hat Fair
|
Friday, 18th November from 4.00pm
|
We are delighted to welcome back the extravaganza that is the HBBC Christmas Lights Switch-on and Tin Hat Fair.
Festivities begin at 4pm with live entertainment in the Market Place followed by the lights switch-on at 6.30pm and a fireworks display at 6.45pm. (Details of road closures for this event are attached below).
Many of your favourite shops, bars and eateries (listed on the link below) will be open throughout the event. There will also be a range of market stalls to browse and the Tin Hat Fair on Regent Street to enjoy.
HBBC has confirmed that, on the day, there will be FREE parking in all council car parks in Hinckley after 3pm.
The Tin Hat Fair continues on Saturday, 19th November from 12 noon to 10pm.

If you would like to walk, run or stroll this short 0.8 mile course with friends or family, please complete our 2-minute online registration.
This is a great family event to get us into the festive spirit. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in a Christmas theme, or just wear your Christmas jumper or hat!
There are prizes to be won for the best fancy dress and, best of all, it is FREE to participate!

FREE Saturday Parking in Hinckley
|

We are delighted to let you know that Christmas shoppers in Hinckley will once again be able to enjoy free car parking in selected town centre car parks on Saturdays this festive season.
Shoppers can park for free in the Lower Bond Street, Trinity West and Castle car parks on:
- Saturdays: 3, 10, 17 and 24 December - after 9.00am
The Borough Council has agreed to repeat the popular offer again this year in order to thank shoppers for their loyalty and to help increase trade for shops and businesses.
Shoppers are reminded that parking is free in all council run car parks on Sundays throughout the year.

Support for Victims of Loan Sharks

Do you know anyone who is the victim of a loan shark?
To protect ourselves and our loved ones in these challenging times, we should all be aware of the threats and how we can protect ourselves.
Sadly, 1.04 million people are victims of illegal loans. The Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT) was set up in England in 2004 and they investigate these crimes and support those who have borrowed cash from loan sharks.
