Welcome to the latest edition of BID Buzz, providing an insight into everything that's happening in your town centre. We feel sure that many will be delighted to hear about the return of our Hinckley BID Motor Show on Sunday, 15th September 2024! There is still time to register, so please share details of the event with any classic car enthusiasts you know, far and wide. This is the most popular event on our annual calendar and a great day out for all the family. Alongside an array of spectacular vintage and modern classics, you can enjoy live music, entertainment for the children and a wonderful festival atmosphere. Many of the town's excellent cafes, bars and retailers will also be open for your enjoyment. Thanks to support from town centre businesses and sponsorship from TMS Volvo Hinckley it is FREE to exhibit a vehicle at the Motor Show and FREE ENTRY to all spectators. Spaces are limited so please REGISTER YOUR VEHICLE NOW to avoid disappointment!

Town Centre Summer Events are in Full Swing

Our Summer of Fun days have been incredibly popular throughout the school holidays. Hundreds of children and their parents and carers have enjoyed a variety of entertainment, including a visit from some cheeky dinosaurs and rides on our lovely little land train on Castle Street. Just two dates remain, so make sure to save the dates and come along and enjoy the fun. - Wednesday, 14th August - Sports Day theme 10.30am to 3.30pm in Market Place

Latest News on The Greyhound Pub

Many of you will have noticed the lovely refreshed exterior at The Greyhound Pub on New Buildings, but there has been lots of other improvements at the venue recently too! Louise and Darren have created a fantastic outdoor seating area and look forward to welcoming their valued customers, old and new, to enjoy the new space. In addition to these big upgrades, they have also introduced a great new menu that is packed with delicious favourites. The Private Client awards is a key event in the legal diary to showcase and celebrate the great work being done across the UK in the Wills, Trusts and Probate sector. Holiday Lounge receives Agent Achievement Award
|
After their recent 20th Anniversary celebrations, Holiday Lounge has even more reason to celebrate. At a recent awards ceremony held in London to showcase the best travel agents in the UK, Holiday Lounge was announced as winner of the Best Agent award in the category of Central England - Small Agency. The Directors and Supervisor of the Hinckley Office were in attendance and were delighted to receive the award. Managing Director Paul Moss said, "It was incredible knowing that we were voted for by our peers in the Travel Industry, but coming within a month of celebrating our 20th anniversary made it extra special!." Well done to all the team at Holiday Lounge on their success! The travel industry is a very competitive environment and it is fantastic to see one of our Hinckley agents achieving recognition for the great work they do.
