About Hinckley and District Museum

Local history museum for Hinckley and district, housed in a row of 17th century timber framed and thatched cottages, with a Fairtrade tearoom and cottage garden. New exhibitions each season (Easter to October), and summer school holiday Monday events for children. The independent museum, which opened in 1996, is managed and staffed entirely by volunteers, and is a registered charity (no. 1015922).

OPENING TIMES
From Easter to the end of October annually:
Saturdays and Mondays 10am-4pm, with last admission at 3.30pm.

 
 
Free Entry for up to 3 children!

Up to 3 children admitted free if accompanied by a BID Loyalty Card holder on Saturdays and Mondays, 10am-3.30pm.

Please note - this offer does NOT apply to special event days.

Also, a free tea or coffee in the museum tearoom for visitors with a BID Loyalty Card.
