More than 20,000 people converged on Hinckley for the sixth annual Hinckley BID Classic Motorshow.
Held on a sunny Sunday, the town centre was buzzing with visitors of all ages - and many well-behaved four-legged friends - keen to get a close-up look at some of several hundred vintage vehicles, from scooters and motorbikes to cars and camper vans.
Pristinely kept motors lined Regent Street and filled the Market Place, with wartime vehicles outside The Bounty encouraging peopl...e to turn back time in the heart of the town.
A jazz band and children’s entertainment kept show goers of all ages amused, and cafes and gift shops reported buoyant trade.
Organisers, who had prepared 500 goody bags in the hope of welcoming last year’s record number of show vehicles, ran out of offerings and reckoned there were closer to 613 on display.
Some had to wait for a space and a few late arrivals had to be turned away.
