An open-air skating rink will be installed in Hinckley Town Centre this Christmas.
It is being provided by the Hinckley & Bosworth Community Safety Partnership and will be open from Saturday 19 December (from 1pm to 9pm each day) up to Christmas Eve (from 1pm to 6pm) located in The Borough.
Skating will be free but the partnership will be encouraging donations to this year's Mayor's Charity Appeal on behalf of the Air Ambulance Service. The ice rink will help promote this year's Safe Christmas campaign organised by the partnership.
The campaign called "Skating on Thin Ice", aims to make people aware of community safety during the Christmas holidays by using a range of images to remind them about crime prevention, keeping safe and drinking responsibly.
