Marmalade Meringue has been selected as a top 5 finalist by Progressive Gifts and Home in the Best Gift Retailer - Newcomer North and Scotland category. Known as ‘The Greats’, these awards recognise and celebrate not only the top independent and multiple gift retailers regionally and nationally, but also the new breed of gift retailers as well as outstanding retail employees.

The winners of this year’s gift retailing awards will be revealed at a glittering awards event at London’s Lancaster Hotel on Thursday 17 May.
Marmalade Meringue is a new and exciting Gift Shop/ Tearoom on Hinckley’s very own Castle Street set up, with many thanks to family and friends, and run by the mother-daughter combo, Trudy and Tilley Tebbutt.
Marmalade Meringue has a fantastic selection of gifts from all over the world! The owners love searching high and low to find the sort of gifts you have never seen before; whether it is a driftwood mirror, a stunning clock, picture frames, fair-trade scarves or even a vintage wheelbarrow! They take pride in having an ever expanding and changing selection of products; every week there is something new and exciting to find. They also do a lovely selection of hand finished and award winning cards, and tasty homemade sandwiches, cakes and cupcakes, which you can enjoy whilst browsing in the upstairs Tea Room.
