Hinckley 50th Anniversary Carnival

This year’s Hinckley Carnival is certainly set to stand out in the memory as it will take place in the town centre.

The annual event will celebrate its 50th year away from its traditional home of Clarendon Park after a unanimous decision by the new carnival committee to hold it in the middle of Hinckley on Saturday September 11.

It is hoped the carnival will be led by one of the country’s top carnival marching bands, the Toy Soldiers, and the event will finish on Brunel Road.
